Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s love story is one for the books– literally.
The couple has had quite the year since announcing their royal departure in January, but their bond is stronger than ever. Harry and Meghan’s relationship timeline, including all of the highest highs and lowest lows, is documented in the book of the summer: Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of A Modern Family, written by veteran royal journalists Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand.
The long-awaited biography traces Harry and Meghan’s romance right from the start of it all and we’re seriously swooning over the newly released details of their first blind date back in 2016.
As reported by Us Weekly, it didn’t take long for Harry to fall head over heels for Meghan on the day they met.
“Harry is admittedly tough to impress, but he almost froze when he walked into the room and saw Meghan,” Finding Freedom reveals, Us Weekly reported. “He knew she was beautiful — he had seen the photos on her Instagram account and online — but she was even more stunning in person.” Sounds like love at first sight to us!
The couple’s relationship continues to be just as romantic as it was on day one.
A source further revealed to Us Weekly that Meghan and Harry make it a point to give each other sentimental gifts, like they did on their second wedding anniversary in May. What’s even more important to them is quality time, however.
“The most important thing to them was that they got to enjoy each other’s company without any interruption from the outside world,” the source said. How sweet is that?!
