Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are once again sparking divorce rumors, as a royal author observed them looking extremely “forced” and “uncomfortable” at their Kinsey African American Art and History Collection event at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on March 21st.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex received a private exhibit tour and mingled with some of the other guests in attendance. The mom-of-two glowed in a floral wool cape by Carolina Herrera, (one of her fave designers!) black trousers, and black ballet flats, while Prince Harry looked dapper in a dark suit and white shirt. However, royal author Tom Quinn thought that despite them looking extremely happy and in love at the event, it did seem like there was something going on behind-the-scenes due to Prince Harry looking quite uncomfortable the whole time he was there.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s ‘Forced’ Displays Of Affection Spark Breakup Rumors
“Harry and Meghan’s recent hosting of a special event in honor of the Kinsey African-American, Art and History Collection gave the couple the chance to do something for an institution that has a special place in Meghan’s heart, and it was fascinating to see how loved up Meghan and Harry were at the event,” Quinn told The Mirror. “But there was a sense that some of this was rather forced,” he added.
“Recent publicity has suggested Meghan and Harry’s relationship is under strain and this will have determined the couple to make a public demonstration of their love for each other and the strength of their marriage,” the Scandals of the Royal Palaces: An Intimate Memoir of Royals Behaving Badly author continued, before going on to talk about what The Mirror referred to as their “forced displays of affection” at the event.
‘”But to many their displays of affection looked contrived – many of us thought Meghan looked as if she was still acting in Suits! And Harry always looks really uncomfortable with public hugs!”
PDA Is Very 'On Brand' For The Sussexes
Quinn told the outlet that Prince Harry, 39, and Meghan, 42, putting on public displays of affection is very on brand for them as a couple since stepping down as senior royals, so suddenly stopping this will more than likely raise eyebrows.
"Harry and Meghan gave up being working royals when they left the UK – after Edward and Mrs. Simpson it was the romance of the century – so there will be panic at any suggestion that the relationship isn't going really well," he explained.
Quinn added: "Their romance is a key part of their brand so whenever we see them now in public, they will make huge efforts to show they are still madly in love. Harry is in the most difficult position because he gave up being a working royal for this romance, and if the romance fails, he has nothing else. Meghan knows how to use her acting skills to make a brand work. Harry hasn't a clue. He only knows how to be a royal and he gave that up."
Divorce Rumors Were Shut Down Earlier This Year
The married couple – who are parents to son Prince Archie and daughter Princess Lilibet – have been facing divorce speculation for quite a few years now. Although they too seem to adopt the late Queen Elizabeth II's 'never complain, never explain' mantra when it comes to rumors about their marriage, a rep did actually address one of the most recent rumors a few months ago.
"We've heard time and time again that certain opportunities are make or break for the couple. They're still here," a rep reportedly told The Mirror back in February. "They're still working and pursuing what they believe in, despite constantly being challenged and criticized. This couple will not be broken."
