Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Reportedly Have ‘No Plans’ To Visit Prince William And Kate Middleton On Their UK Tour—Yikes!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have already received a lot of criticism for their upcoming trip to the UK next month – and the fact that they have “no plans” to visit Prince William and Kate Middleton is only adding to the backlash! Oh no!
The Sussexes announced that they will be heading to the UK in September to attend the One Young World Summit in Manchester, which brings together young leaders from more than 190 countries, on September 5th, before flying to Germany for an event to commemorate one year until the Invictus Games in Dusseldorf on September 6th. They are then expected to fly back to the UK for the WellChild Awards in London on September 8th, where Prince Harry will deliver a speech. Sounds like a packed few days!
Although no one can argue that Harry and Meghan seem to have a *very* busy few days, their chance to see Harry’s older brother and sister-in-law is easier than ever thanks to the Cambridge’s recent house move! According to reports, Harry and Meghan will be staying at Frogmore Cottage during their time in the UK, which is said to be just a five minute walk from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s new home at Adelaide Cottage. (If you’ll recall, the Cambridges decided to move to Adelaide Cottage to be closer to the Queen in Windsor Castle. A ten minute walk away, to be exact!)
Although it will be the first time the two couples have been living near each other since Harry and Meghan moved out of Kensington Palace in 2019, royal experts are suggesting that the brothers’ very close proximity to each other doesn’t make it easier for them to meet. After all, they were at St Paul’s Cathedral together for the Service of Thanksgiving during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June, and they famously didn’t say a word to each other!
“There are no plans to see William and Kate,” royal reporter Camilla Tominey said on This Morning on Tuesday, August 16th. “I suppose that seems odd as they came over for the Platinum Jubilee and there was apparently no interaction between both couples,” she added, before saying that she thought the current situation is a “bit depressing.”
“Once close brothers, as Harry himself said, are on very different paths,” Tominey continued, before adding that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are “still very hurt” by everything that was said in the now infamous Oprah Winfrey interview. “They don’t feel the Sussexes have acknowledged that enough and therefore they are not on great terms, and that is the truth of the matter.”
