Prince Harry, 40, and Meghan Markle, 43, have been going on more solo public engagements these past few months, amid reports that they are trialing a professional separation in a bid to win back the public. However, a royal author believes things go a little deeper than that…
Royal biographer Angela Levin reportedly believes the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s working relationship is “in a very bad state,” and thinks it’s partly because their personal relationship is also hanging by a thread. Keep reading for more information.
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Are Reportedly Considering A Move To Portugal After His US Visa Expires
Part of the reason for Prince Harry and Meghan's current rumored marital troubles is reportedly in relation to their future accommodation, as his U.S. visa is said to be running out – and it's quite unlikely that it will get renewed!
Levin told GB News that the parents-of-two are "navigating their next steps" because the Spare author is "facing trouble with his U.S. visa," and that could mean that their days in their Montecito, California home, and the U.S. in general, are numbered.
"He's got trouble with his visa," Levin said. "They're allowed to look again at what the problem is, and he might still not be able to stay there. Maybe that's why they're buying somewhere else," she added. And that somewhere else is none other than Portugal!
Royal Author Thinks Harry And Meghan's Potential Portugal Move Could Be A Sign That Their Marriage Is In Trouble
Levin speculated that their potential move to Portugal could signal that their relationship is going downhill, as it's likely that Prince Harry could reside in Portugal by himself while the former Suits actress remains in the U.S. to continue her own professional projects and even attempt to get back into acting.
"They say they're going to work separately, then they say they're buying a house in Portugal — you don't do that if you don't want to separate for most of the time, so I wonder if it's in a very bad state," Levin said.
"But I'm sure they're trying to work out something," she continued, before going on to say that the Invictus Games founder, who was recently voted one of the 'Hottest Men Alive' by Harper's Bazaar, sadly "doesn't know where he is at the moment" and has yet to make a proper decision.
Could the Sussexes forget their move to Portugal and move back to the U.K. so Prince Harry can be closer to his family and friends? King Charles' former butler sure thinks so!
King Charles' Former Butler Thinks Potential Portugal Move Suggests Prince Harry Is 'Getting Closer To His Family Again'
King Charles' former personal butler Grant Harrold recently weighed in on the Sussexes' potential move to Portugal, after the New York Post reported that they had spent more than $4.7M on one of 300 soon-to-be constructed residences at the 722-acre CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club about 81 miles south of Lisbon.
Harrold explained that moving to Europe is a sign that Prince Harry wants to slowly patch things up with his family, saying: "It's been quiet for quite a while which is a good sign, so I think any move to Europe – even if it's not the U.K., Portugal is not that far – could mean that it's easier for Harry to spend more time in his home the U.K. and it's quite possible it's a sign that he is getting closer to his family again."
