Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been worried about what the release of his bombshell memoir would do to their relationship with the royal family; but things could be about to get worse as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have reportedly snubbed a personal invitation from the King and will *not* be flying to the UK for the holidays! “No plans” to spend Christmas with the royal family
The Sussexes reportedly have no plans to spend Christmas with the royal family in Sandringham this year – the first Christmas without the late Queen Elizabeth II, and the first Christmas with King Charles III on the throne – amid the ongoing tensions within the family, which are likely to be elevated even further with the release of Prince Harry’s memoir, Spare, on January 10th, 2023.
According to The Mirror, a royal insider says that tensions are high within the royal family, and relations are “near rock bottom,” as the title of Prince’s Harry’s memoir had “caught” the family completely “by surprise.”
We are excited to announce the remarkably personal and emotionally powerful story of Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex.

“Being the ‘spare’ is still at the forefront of his mind all these years later, and he clearly feels belittled by it,” Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, said.
Potential consequences
Royal author Tom Bower also weighed in, telling The Mirror that the book could have a whole number of consequences – one of which could be Prince Harry and Meghan’s children’s titles being taken away, with a more extreme version being that they themselves could have their remaining royal titles stripped too!
Make or break!
"This book is really make or break," Bower said. "I imagine that King Charles has been warned that any retaliation won’t be pretty. All that King Charles can really do is to withhold the titles for his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet. Ultimately, I suppose, he could take away Harry and Meghan’s titles as well, but that’s pretty drastic. I don’t know what else he can do. If it is as bad as I think it is, then Harry and Meghan have gone fully rogue. The best the family can do is to break ties with them."
Another insider told The Mirror that the contents of the memoir "could spell the end for any relationship Harry wants to have with his family. It’s desperately sad. Everyone is bracing themselves for yet another fraught and frantic period at the mercy of the Sussexes."
