Even more revelations from Ulrike Grunewald’s Harry — The Lost Prince documentary, which aired on German network ZDF on December 6th, have come out. And once again, Prince Harry isn’t coming across in the best light…
We already know that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been described as “lonely” and isolated by their Montecito neighbors, with some people even suggesting that the former Suits actress isn’t very popular in the community. But what else has been revealed?
Prince Harry Reportedly Didn't Get His Way Regarding Megxit
According to Ok! and The Express, among other pubs, royal author Angela Levin appeared to discuss what went on behind closed doors when Prince Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior royals in 2020 – which the media dubbed Megxit – and how Prince Harry was not happy with the way the institution handled it.
Previous reports have suggested that he and the American Riviera Orchard founder didn't actually want to completely remove themselves from the royal family and become financially independent, and were unhappy to learn that it had to be an all or nothing deal.
Levin reportedly explained that Prince Harry was essentially furious after finding out that he was unable to "get exactly what he wanted," which was to still be able to perform some of their usual duties with less of the responsibility. I.e., to be "half in the royal family and half out."
"The late Queen, who died, said 'that actually doesn't work, and I don't want you to use your position within the royal family to make money,'" Levin said.
Evidently, Prince Harry and Meghan have gone against the late monarch's wishes, as they are still cashing in on their Sussex titles and royal ties, with just one example being that Meghan used her Duchess of Sussex title to promote her lifestyle brand.
