Prince Harry and Prince William have been feuding for many years now, with Kate Middleton reportedly making it her mission to reunite the brothers by the end of the year.
Many people have spoken out about the brothers’ rift over the years, which is widely speculated to have started when Prince William allegedly told Prince Harry about his concerns about Meghan Markle at the start of their relationship, only for it to deepen after Prince Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior royals in 2020. And now, their former aide Jason Knauf is the latest person to share his thoughts on their feud during a candid interview with 60 Minutes Australia, which aired on February 23rd…

Prince Harry And Prince William's Former Aide Opens Up About Their Years-Long Feud
Knauf, who worked as a Communications Secretary at Kensington Palace for Prince Harry and Prince William, as well as their wives, before stepping down in 2021, told 60 Minutes that the ongoing royal feud between the brothers has been difficult for "all of us who know both of them." Especially, he says, because they have had to deal with it in the public eye!
"It's very difficult to have this stuff play out in the public eye, but [William]'s chosen to keep his thoughts on it private, and I think all of us who know him really have to respect that we should do the same," Knauf said.
"But I will say, of course, it's been hard and sad, especially for all of us who know both of them," he continued.

Jason Knauf Also Addresses Meghan Markle Bullying Allegations
Also in the candid interview, Knauf addressed his involvement in the bullying allegations that have been made against the Duchess of Sussex, and explained that he wouldn't have changed any part of how he handled it.
If you recall, Knauf sent an email to Simon Case, who was Prince William's private secretary at the time, about his concerns about Meghan's alleged "unacceptable" behavior towards some of the staff at the palace. Some of his email, which was leaked just before Prince Harry and Meghan's bombshell Oprah interview in 2021, read: "I am very concerned that the Duchess was able to bully two PAs out of the household in the past year. The treatment of X was totally unacceptable." It also read: "We have had report after report from people who have witnessed unacceptable behavior towards Y."
Speaking about the attention his email received after it went public, Knauf said in the interview: "I think it's tough, but it's probably quite good. You know, as someone who has been helping other people through how to deal with the public eye, you probably have to take your own medicine sometimes."
He added: "You can't choose just to take the fun stuff in any job, and that applies to the prince and princess as well as everyone else working for them. So, I wouldn't change anything."

Jason Knauf Says He Had 'Lots Of Great Times' With Prince Harry And Meghan
Interestingly, Knauf also had some positive things to say about the Spare author and his wife, saying: "I worked really closely with the two of them, and we had lots of great times."
He also said that "working on their wedding was an amazing magical experience," in reference to their royal wedding in 2018, and wished them "absolutely all the best with their lovely family."
