Prince Harry Shows 'Signs of Stress And Sadness' Towards Prince William
The first evidence of stress and sadness came when Prince Harry was walking to his seat. "Although Prince Harry walks with confidence," body language expert Blanca Cobb explains, "as evidenced by his straight posture, shoulders pulled back, head level, and arms by his side, his face and hands show slight tension."
"His smile is tense as his lips are held tight, and the corners pull out slightly," she continued. "Additionally, there's a seriousness in his eyes as his bottom eyelids appear tight." Perhaps some of this tension could be nervousness? The coronation came just four months after the Duke of Sussex released his bombshell memoir, Spare, where he outright accused his older brother of violence against him.
Cobb continued, pointing out, "Harry's fingers are slightly curved underneath his hands, and it appear that his thumb is pressing into his fingers on his left hand. These signs suggest that Prince Harry is feeling slightly stressed." Quite understandable, given the gravity of some of the accusations he made in his memoir.
Prince Harry Gazes Sadly At Prince William
Another instance of sadness from Prince Harry came when they were seated for the ceremony. Harry was seated three rows behind Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their children. Many royal fans expected this, but they did not expect the sad looks that Prince Harry sent Prince William's way.
"Instead of looking straight ahead like the other guests," Cobb describes, "Prince Harry turns to the right to glance at his brother, Prince William. Although he tries to keep his face stoic, the slight downward pull of Harry's lips indicates a hint of sadness. His glare toward his brother makes us wonder what he's trying to figure out."
Perhaps a way to apologize?
