Prince Harry is reportedly having anxiety over next month’s trip to the U.K., as he’s unsure what it could mean for his ongoing strained relationship with his father, King Charles, brother, Prince William, and sister-in-law, Kate Middleton.

The Duke of Sussex, 39, is due to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games with a church service at St Paul’s Cathedral in London on May 8th; and he’s reportedly having “sleepless nights” about it! While we don’t think he is anxious about the event itself, it’s likely that is worried about what will happen before and after the event, as his relationship with his family has been strained for many years.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's Concerns About UK Visit

Meghan Markle's potential attendance could also be adding to his concerns, although it's not yet confirmed whether she and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, will be leaving Montecito, California and coming to the U.K.

The former Suits actress and her husband haven't been in the U.K. together since the late Queen Elizabeth II's funeral in September 2022. Their children haven't been in the U.K. since the Platinum Jubilee, which took place just a few months prior.

"Harry and Meghan are having sleepless nights about what they should do when Harry visits the U.K. later this year," Gilded Youth A History of Growing Up in the Royal Family: From the Plantagenets to the Cambridges author Tom Quinn told The Mirror.

"He will have to do something to acknowledge the huge difficulties his family is going through, but he won't want to do or say anything that seems to imply anything less than wholehearted support for his permanently aggrieved wife," Quinn added, before going on to say that Prince Harry – who reportedly regrets slamming Kate Middleton in Spare – wants to make peace with his sister-in-law.

"Harry would love to patch things up with his sister-in-law," Quinn told the pub, while saying he also wants to make peace with "his brother and father" too. "He sees things far more calmly now he has had his say in Spare and in various interviews, but he just cannot think how to do it and keep Meghan happy."
