Prince Harry Reportedly 'Doesn't Feel Comfortable' Looking For A Home In The UK As He Continues To Fight King Charles Removing Security Funding

It was recently reported that Prince Harry was searching for a home in the U.K. after he and Meghan Markle were evicted from Frogmore Cottage last year. However, if we are to believe the latest reports, he has temporarily stopped searching for a U.K. residence, as his ongoing issues with getting security for his family have still yet to be resolved.

If you’ll recall, Prince Harry, 39, lost his right to taxpayer funded security when he and Meghan, 42, stepped down as senior royals, but has since challenged the government to provide security for him and his family when they come to visit. He lost his High Court challenge against the government back in February, but has appealed the decision, claiming that his family would be in danger if they came to the U.K. and didn’t have the right security.

Prince Harry Has Reportedly Stopped Searching For UK Home

The Duke of Sussex has been staying at hotels since his father King Charles evicted him and Meghan from Frogmore Cottage, but he would reportedly like to have his own place in the U.K. moving forward. Having a place of his own would also be a good place for him to meet up with his friends, as many of them reportedly won't come to the U.S. because they "don't get on with Meghan."

However, Prince Harry has reportedly put his house-hunting on hold for the time being, and is waiting for his legal battle about security to be resolved.

"Harry really does want to spend more time in the U.K. but doesn't feel comfortable doing that until the security issues have been ironed out," a source told The Express, in reference to the father-of-two's ongoing legal battle.

"He and Meghan planned on looking for a part-time home near Windsor this year and hoped that the appeals process would be heard before the end of July so that they could properly start their search," the source continued, adding: "However, the court process seems to be taking its time."
