Kate Middleton Stuns In A Black Dress At The Festival Of Remembrance
Kate Middleton shocked the world when she announced her cancer diagnosis back in March, and has pretty much stayed out of the public eye since, undergoing chemotherapy treatments. Most of the updates on her health have come from Prince William, with a few videos from the Princess herself assuring her fans that she's doing everything she can to get better.
But fans finally got to see the future queen in person at the Royal Albert Hall for the Festival of Remembrance this past weekend, and she looked absolutely stunning. Wearing a sleek black dress with a tasteful v-neck and a red poppy pinned on the lapels of the knee-length dress, she Princess looked well, which certainly lifted the spirits of concerned citizens.
Prince William Speaks On Their 'Difficult' Year
In a recent interview in South Africa, Prince William shed some light on how he's been handling the health diagnoses of his closest family members. "Trying to get through everything else and keep everything on track has been really difficult," he said to Sky News, NBC's international partner. He added that he is "so proud of his wife, I'm proud of my father," and that Kate is "amazing and doing well."
Speaking on the year, though, he called it "brutal," and said, "It's been dreadful. It's probably been the hardest year in my life."
When the interviewer pointed out that the Prince seemed more relaxed than usual, he responded, "It's interesting you say that, 'cause I couldn't be less relaxed this year. So it's very interesting you're all seeing that. But it's more a case of just crack on and you've got to keep going... I enjoy my work, and I enjoy pacing myself and keeping sure that I have got time for my family, too."
