Prince William's Former Secretary's Credibility Is Questioned After He Allegedly Leaked Sensitive Information
According to the Daily Telegraph, "Simon Case, long tipped to quit next year, is understood to be stepping down next month."
The American Riviera Orchard founder's fans believe that everything happening with Case at the moment can only be a good thing, as allegedly leaking private information has called Case's credibility into question, thus making the bullying allegations seem a little less accurate. However, according to Newsweek, the Cabinet Office said that rumors of Case leaking secret information to the media are "categorically untrue."
What Did Prince Harry Say About Simon Case?
Prince Harry wrote about Case in his bombshell memoir, Spare, although he didn't mention him by name, instead referring to him as "the Fly."
The Duke of Sussex wrote: "The Fly had spent much of his career adjacent to, and indeed drawn to, [expletive.] The offal of government, and media, the wormy entrails, he loved it, grew fat on it, rubbed his hands in glee over it, though he pretended otherwise. He strove to give off an air of casualness, of being above the fray, coolly efficient and ever helpful."

There have been many comments about Simon Case over the past few months on social media – many of them accusing him of being the real bully (with some allegations of Prince William being involved too!) not the Duchess of Sussex.
"Those of us who watched Simon Case terrorize Harry and Meghan on instructions from Prince William aren't surprised that he is leaking pictures from No10 to the Daily Mail. This is the man who flew empty planes so that William can take a picture taking a 'budget flight,'" wrote one X user.
"That'll be the same Simon Case who pulled a sickie on the Covid enquiry and got rewarded by Prince William for vilifying Meghan Markle?" asked a second, as a third said: "Can't wait for the day that everyone associated with forcing H&M out are exposed."
"Simon Case is the Head of the UK Civil Service now. He's waffling his way through a COVID Enquiry. This jack of all trades was Prince William's main man/private secretary who wreaked havoc for Harry and Meghan," commented another X user, while someone else recalled: "In Spare, Harry described Simon Case as The Fly, someone who loves [expletive.]"
"If I was Meghan, I would lawyer up and law suit the Egg out of William and the RF," commented another X user earlier this year, while someone else wrote back in August: "The bogus allegations of bullying against Meghan Markle concocted by Simon Case who has his name in #JeffreyEpsein's black book and is sued for discrimination & harassment."
Another added: "Jason Knauf, Simon Case and others were directly involved in causing harm to Meghan Markle. Harry knows it. Millions of people believe it." A final X user wrote: "The evil Pitbull for Prince William. Says a LOT about the Heir. A. LOT. Simon Case is the main architect of the organized hate against Meghan Markle and it is all coming out in the press."
