Kate Middleton Gives Fans Little Information On Her Health Battle
After announcing that she would be undergoing abdominal surgery in January, Kate Middleton released a video in March sharing that tragic news that she's been diagnosed with cancer. "I underwent major abdominal surgery in London," Kate said in the video, "and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery was successful, however tests after the operation found cancer had been present." However, Kate did not share what the abdominal surgery was for or what type of cancer she's been diagnosed with.
Since then, she's been undergoing chemotherapy treatments, and though things seem to be going well, she's acknowledged just how tough the battle is. A few days before the Trooping the Colour, Kate let fans know in an Instagram post that she would be in attendance, but still isn't feeling back to normal.
"I am making good progress," she wrote in the caption, "but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days. On those bad days you feel weak, tired and you have to given in to your body resting. but on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well."

If you didn't see Prince William, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte at Taylor Swift's Era's tour, you might be living under a rock. During the pop star's stint in London, the royal family made sure they caught a show. In different viral videos from the show, Prince William was seen dancing to "Shake It Off," and in photos posted by both Taylor Swift and Prince William & Kate Middleton's Instagram account, all three royal attendees were grinning from ear to ear. Was this a sign? Royal expert Kinsey Schofield thinks so.
"This is wild to see his dance moves, but he looked so sweet at the Taylor Swift concert, he was effortlessly just rocking out," Schofield said. "I love that he was there with his kids, it was pure joy. We have been concerned about this family."
"So to see them having so much fun and and to see them so blissful," she continued, "it was a blast for us. I think it's a good indication that things are positive." We certainly hope so—we know Kate would've loved to be there.
