Prince William is revealing something major about his process of mourning late mother, Princess Diana!
The Duke of Cambridge just revealed in a new BBC documentary that becoming a father brought a lot of feelings about his mother’s passing to the surface. So sad!

The future king speaks more candidly than ever before about the challenges of being a parent–especially when you’ve suffered your own personal trauma that comes back in “leaps and bounds.” I think a lot of people are going to relate to this.
William says in the BBC One documentary, “Football, Prince William and Our Mental Health" that, "Emotionally, things come out of the blue that you don’t ever expect," speaking about fatherhood and his own grieving.
The Duke spoke with former professional soccer player Marvin Sordell for the film about what it's like to have children when you’ve lost a parent.

"Having children is the biggest life-changing moment, it really is," William says in the clip. “I think when you’ve been through something traumatic in life, and that is, like you say, your dad not being around, my mother dying when I was younger, the emotions come back, in leaps and bounds. It’s a very different phase of life, and there’s no one there to kind of help you.”
If you recall, William's mother, the late Princess Diana, died in a tragic car crash in August 1997 when he was only 15.

He welcomed son Prince George in 2013, followed by daughter Princess Charlotte in 2015 and Prince Louis in 2018 with wife Kate Middleton, aka the Duchess of Cambridge.
