Prince William and Kate Middleton appear to be responding to those cheating allegations in the best way, as they took to social media on New Year’s Eve to share a picture of themselves engaging in more PDA than we ever thought we would see from the usually very strict and conservative couple! Could this be their way of shutting down the rumors and showing the world that there is no trouble and paradise?
If you’ll recall, Prince William is currently embroiled in an infidelity scandal, as the allegations of him cheating on Kate when she was pregnant with their third child – three-year-old son, Prince Louis – which first surfaced (and were quickly shut down) in 2019 have once again been circulating thanks to a comment on social media. However, the allegations seem like the furthest thing on the royals’ minds if the picture they shared to social media is anything to go by!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared the shocking picture of themselves engaging in royally-frowned-upon PDA on their official Instagram account (@dukeandduchessofcambridge) which was taken on the night of the No Time to Die film premiere at London’s Royal Albert Hall that they both attended back in September. Wills and Kate are pictured beaming from ear to ear, as Kate lovingly clasps her husband’s hand. They couldn’t look happier or more in love!
The Duke and Duchess captioned the photo, which has since received over 1.4 million likes and over 13,000 comments: “Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!” followed by a fireworks emoji. They also tagged @alexbramall at the end, who they credited for taking the gorgeous picture. The picture might not be shocking in the same way those Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker or even Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly PDA pictures are, but considering how Prince William and Kate aren’t even allowed to hold hands in public, the picture is definitely against royal protocol! We’re especially thankful for the picture because it means we get to appreciate Kate’s stunning embellished gold Jenny Packham gown again. It really was one of her most spectacular red carpet dresses, and definitely worthy of a James Bond premiere!
