During their recent visit to the Grange Pavilion in Cardiff, Wales, Prince William and Kate Middleton were captured in a lighthearted moment as they posed for a group photo with locals. The prince’s sense of humor shone through as he joked, “Who’s pinching my bottom?” prompting laughter from everyone present, as seen in a video shared on TikTok.

The couple’s visit to the Welsh capital city was in celebration of 75 years since the HMT Empire Windrush arrived in London, and they also paid homage to the start of Black History Month in the U.K. This more positive moment comes after rumors of a feud between the couple emerged on the internet recently.

As reported by Us Weekly, an insider acknowledged that the Prince and Princess of Wales have faced challenges in the past year. The source commended the two for their resilience in the face of adversity. However, there seems to have been a “disagreement” between the couple regarding how to handle the tension with William’s younger brother Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle.

Prince William And Kate Middleton Share Lighthearted Moment In Wales Amid Feud Rumors

During their day out in Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met with members of the Windrush Cymru Elders, Black History Cymru 365, and the Ethnic Minority Youth Forum for Wales (whom they posed with when William made the surprising and comical joke). Later on, the pair further engaged with young members of the Somali community and attentively heard about the initiatives spearheaded by the Wales Somaliland Youth Links and Cardiff Bay Warriors FC.

Following this, William and Kate showed their excitement as they partook in a game of table tennis at the Grange Pavilion. Afterwards, the pair made their way to Fitzalan High School where they learned about the noteworthy projects carried out by students relating to Black history and the Windrush generation.

While the two were seen smiling and laughing during this recent outing, according to Us Weekly, a source recently told the outlet that they have been arguing about how to approach awkwardness with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex following the release of Prince Harry's bombshell memoir, Spare, in January of this year.

The insider deemed 2023 a "tough year" for William and Kate, adding: "They’re the first to admit it’s been a tough year, but everyone agrees William and Kate have done a wonderful job staying strong in the face of such adversity."

As written in Harry's book, there was allegedly once a significant physical altercation between the brothers which the author claims involved William pushing Harry to the floor.

"Kate has no desire to communicate with Harry nor Meghan. There has been too much that has happened and she’s not ready yet," the source noted. They also said that William wants to forgive his brother in the future, but he is in no rush to do so. "William wants his relationship with his brother to improve, but they’re not speaking right now. So when that will happen is still uncertain."

Something else Kate would probably not be happy with Harry mentioning in his memoir is that she allegedly "grimaced" when Markle asked to borrow her lip gloss before they went on stage at the Royal Foundation Forum in 2018.

Although there were reports suggesting that Kate was receptive to the idea of William and Harry repairing their strained relationship (including claims that she was making sympathetic phone calls to Harry), it appears that this may no longer be the case.

This sentiment echoes recent comments made by royal expert Jennie Bond, who told Ok! Magazine that Kate was "hurt and insulted by things that Harry and Meghan have said."
