Prince George joined his father Prince William at the Wales vs Argentina rugby match in Marseille on Saturday, October 14th – and it was a particularly memorable event, as it was the first time the ten-year-old attended an international sporting fixture. The young royal was noticeably absent the following day though, and didn’t join mom Kate Middleton (patron of England’s Rugby Football Union) at the England vs Fiji game. Perhaps one game per weekend was all he could handle, or perhaps it was his way of showing that he is team Wales as opposed to team England.

Many pictures were taken of the Prince and Princess of Wales’ firstborn watching Wales take on Argentina; but a few pictures seemed to show his father, a longstanding patron of the Welsh Rugby Union, “scolding” him, to quote Page Six. Although there is no way of possibly knowing what the father and son were talking about, a body language expert doesn’t think that the pictures are telling the whole story…

Was Prince William Scolding Prince George? A Body Language Expert Weighs In

A body language expert has weighed in following the release of the pictures, which also saw Prince George rolling his eyes on several occasions – and it's taught us that we shouldn't be so quick to jump to conclusions!

Body language expert Inbaal Honigmaal thought that Prince George rolling his eyes very likely had something to do with his enjoyment of the match – she essentially thought that the young royal was getting bored – as opposed to because he was being scolded by his father.

"Nearly all the photos from this event seem to feature the young royal with his irises rolling upwards," Honigmaal explained to the Daily Star, adding, "This eye rolling very likely indicates he finds the event tedious and is imagining himself doing something else."

"Prince George isn't tense here," Honigmaal added. "He's definitely calm, which we can tell because his mouth isn't pressed in any photos. His lightly parted lips signify calm. Whatever Prince William is telling him, it is not a conversation that's disturbing his peace." How interesting!
