Prince William Opens Up About Kate Middleton's Condition And Progress After Chemotherapy Treatment
William continued, regarding Kate: "She’s been amazing this whole year, and I know she’ll be really keen to see tonight be a success."
The Princess of Wales, also 42, notably demonstrated her recovery last month by appearing publicly with William during their visit to Southport, U.K.
The couple's mission was to pay tribute to the families of 9-year-old Alice Dasilva Aguiar, 7-year-old Elsie Dot Stancombe, and 6-year-old Bebe King, who tragically lost their lives in a stabbing incident at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in the coastal town.
Kate, who shares three children with William—Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6—recently provided a health update in September.
She shared the news of finishing her chemotherapy, expressing deep gratitude for the strides she has made.
In a September 9th Instagram post, Kate wrote: "The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you."
She added: "This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved."
Nevertheless, she observed at the time that her battle was far from over. "Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes," she shared.
Kate continued, looking toward the future: "I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can."
