Prince Harry Reportedly Warned Not To Leak Royal Family Plans With The Press
A large part of Prince William's hesitancy to even meet with his brother next month is reportedly due to there being a lack of trust, which isn't surprising given how many royal family secrets were spilled in Prince Harry's bombshell memoir Spare. However, a royal commentator believes that Prince Harry could stand a better chance of repairing his relationship with his brother and the rest of the royal family if he manages to stay silent and not reveal any plans of a potential meeting or reconciliation with the world.
Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield, who has had many opinions about the royal family feud over the past few months, told TalkTV that Prince William may not be willing to meet with his brother because he is extra protective of the royal family right now following King Charles and Kate Middleton's respective cancer battles.
"I do think Prince William will be much more protective of their privacy at this point in time," Schofield told TalkTV, in reference to the royal family. "And when Prince Harry did come back when he found out the King had cancer, he did go on TV later on ABC News and talked about it, so I think Prince William might be more hesitant than the King to have that 1:1 time with him," she continued.
Schofield went on to speculate: "I think that [any private meetings] would be the ultimate test. 'Okay, we're going to see you and if any of this gets out then we know that we can't ever do this again, or we know that things are headed in the right direction.' I think that would be a great test and it would be to everyone's benefit to keep it a secret."
