Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas finally shared a photo of their baby on Mother’s Day, and she is simply precious!
In the photo, which Jonas and Chopra both shared to their individual Instagram accounts, Chopra is holding their baby, Malti, to her chest. The Quantico star’s eyes are closed in what looks to be pure motherly joy while Jonas gazes lovingly at their small daughter. It’s just about the sweetest thing we’ve ever seen!

While this is the most we’ve seen of the couple’s baby—in fact, it’s the only time we’ve ever seen her!—her face isn’t fully exposed, but rather covered with a white heart emoji. However, we can see enough to know that she’s absolutely adorable in her pink dress and bow-adorned headband.
“On this Mother’s Day we can’t help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we’ve been on,” both parents wrote in the caption, going on to say that “after 100 plus days in the ICU, our little girl is finally home,” about which the couple is “overjoyed.” We’re so happy for them! They continued by saying “our next chapter begins now, and our baby is truly a badass. Let’s get it M! Mommy and Daddy love you.”
In addition to thanking the hospital staff who cared for Malti and showing appreciation for “how precious and perfect every moment is,” Jonas gave a special shoutout to his wife on her first Mother’s day.
“Babe, you inspire me in every way, and you are taking to this new role with such ease and steadiness. I am so grateful to be on this journey with you. You are already an incredible mother. Happy Mother’s Day. I love you,” he concluded. Awww!
Chopra’s caption was identical, but with a different message at the end; hers showed thanks to her husband. “There is no one I’d rather do this with than you,” she wrote. “Thank you for making me a mama @nickjonas I love you.” Too sweet!
We can’t wait to see more of this bundle of joy, but it’s likely that the photos and information we do get will be sparse. The fact that Malti’s face is covered in this initial photo comes as no surprise, as the couple have kept most of the details of their child’s life private since she was born. In fact, they didn’t even reveal her name (Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, which means “small flower,” “moonlight,” and “jasmine flower”) until three months after she was born.
On January 21, six days after Malti Marie came into the world, Chopra shared an Instagram post asking that the public respect her child’s privacy. “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family,” she wrote.

While fans respect the privacy of the sweet family, they certainly appreciate the glimpse they were able to get of the little one on Instagram. “Thank you for sharing it with us! Happy to know she is finally home! Definitely a badass with the best parents,” one wrote. We couldn’t have said it better ourselves!
