According to Dr. Mehmet Oz, cottage cheese is "rich in good bacteria and packed with active cultures like L. acidophilus and B. bifidum." You'll just have to check the labels when shopping for cottage cheese to make sure it contains these strains! 

2. Dark Chocolate

Probiotics can be found even in sweets. According to Gut Health Project, dark chocolate contains probiotics. And for the best health benefits, the site recommends choosing dark chocolate that's low in sugar, and to avoid varieties that contain high fructose corn syrup and artificial sweeteners. 

3. Olives

Green olives are another food that have been found to contain probiotics. According to Benjamin Brown, ND, table olives are also a fermented food and provide bacteria such as lactobacilli that may have probiotic effects. 

4. Yogurt

According to Dr. Josh Axe, fermented yogurt is packed with probiotics. Josh says that fermented yogurts both support weight loss and increase fat loss. "Probiotics in yogurt stimulate healthy digestive function, and help produce vitamin B12 and K," Josh says.
