As summer winds down, pumpkin spice aficionados have a lot to look forward to! Many have started anticipating autumnal flavors and offerings from their favorite fast food chains, from Starbucks to Dunkin’ to Krispy Kreme.
Speculation about a Pumpkin Spice Frosty being available at Wendy’s was abuzz in social media over the past week, having originated in a Reddit thread entitled “New frosty flavor coming soon.”
Reportedly, an alleged Wendy’s employee indicated that in addition to the new Frosty, customers will also soon have access to pumpkin spice-flavored hot coffee and cold brew at their favorite Wendy’s location.

Is A Pumpkin Spice-Flavored Frosty Coming To Wendy’s Soon?
Redditor @PainSquare4365 wrote in the post: “Just got told by my GM today that we are getting Pumpkin Spice for the fall frosty. Also for the coffee, but didn’t clarify if for the hot coffee or cold brew. As the basic b—h that I am, super excited. No ETA given.” Naturally, fans couldn’t get enough of the news, with one commenting: “please tell me this is in the U.S. PLEASE.” Another added: “I really want to believe you right now.”
The nationwide launch of the much-anticipated Frosty is allegedly scheduled for September 12th, although some stores may start offering it ahead of time, if their supply of the Strawberry Frosty runs out. Related to this, another fan wrote in the thread: “My store has already been selling the new [pumpkin spice] iced coffee syrups already for like a few weeks now in the us.”
On August 4th, popular fast food-themed Instagram page @snackolator also commented on the rumors of a Pumpkin Spice Frosty, writing: "Wendy's is bringing a new Pumpkin Spice Frosty this fall and this is a change from the earlier rumors!"
The account creator explained that previous rumors of a Caramel Apple Frosty were apparently debunked, and the chain only plans to unveil a Pumpkin Spice one. "Weeks ago I was told by employees of two different Wendy's that they were bringing the Caramel Apple Frosty this fall, but I *think* they assumed the caramel syrup for the new Frosty Cold Brews was for that Frosty and made the wrong assumption."
They continued: "So that is *not* coming to the US much to my dismay! I apologize for getting that one wrong - I am as disappointed as anyone, I promise!" On the plus side, the user wrote: "the Pumpkin Spice Frosty was confirmed this past week and it sounds like the Frosty Cold Brew will also have a pumpkin spice option as well! I really am curious to see how this tastes - it could be a great fall option if they get it right."
