Salmonella Symptoms
Symptoms of salmonella include diarrhea, fever, and stomach cramps, and in rare cases, according to the FDA, "Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections, endocarditis, and arthritis." Salmonella can cause fatal infections in children, elderly people, and those with weakened immune systems. Be sure to check your pantry for any Quaker items that may be contaminated with Salmonella in order to keep your family safe.
