According to reports, Prince Harry, 40, will be in London tomorrow to attend the WellChild Awards, with rumors swirling that he could squeeze in a quick visit to see his father for a face-to-face meeting for the first time since February.
However, a Daily Beast report claims that Queen Camilla, 77, has advised that King Charles, 75, who is currently receiving treatment for cancer, should not see his youngest son due to the stress it could cause him.
King Charles Reportedly Wants To Fly From Scotland To London To See Prince Harry, But Queen Camilla Has Advised Against It
Although King Charles didn't see Prince Harry when he flew to the U.K. for the Invictus Games tenth anniversary back in May – and gave the excuse that he couldn't fit him into his busy schedule – he reportedly *does* want to slowly patch things up with him because he hates what the royal feud is doing to his two sons.
King Charles will be in Scotland when Prince Harry flies from California to London, but sources have hinted that he would be willing to make the journey if it meant seeing his son face-to-face. However, Queen Camilla has strongly advised against it because she fears it could be extremely detrimental to his health. And as King Charles tends to side with his wife when it comes to Prince Harry, we think he will listen to her and stay in Scotland!
Queen Camilla Thinks A Meeting With Prince Harry Will Stress King Charles Out
"The King has an instinctive impulse towards Christian reconciliation, and his cancer diagnosis has only sharpened that. He wants this settled, not just because he loves both his sons, but because it has been so destabilizing for the monarchy," a source, who is believed to be a friend of the King's, told the Daily Beast.
However, according to another insider, believed to be a friend of Queen Camilla's, the Queen Consort "has been the principal voice urging Charles to slow down and take things easy. The last thing she wants him to do is to get stressed out over a meeting with Harry."
