Queen Camilla is no stranger to showing her emotions, as proven several times over the years. One particular moment which stands out was when she broke down in tears when King Charles gave a moving speech during a traditional Ava ceremony in Siumu at the end of last year.

And if we are to believe royal expert Jennie Bond, we can expect the Queen Consort to once again become very emotional when she attends the upcoming 80th anniversary of VE Day in May, due to the memories it will likely bring back for her. Keep reading for more info…

Queen Camilla Is Expected To Get Emotional At VE Day Anniversary

The 80th anniversary of VE Day will take place on May 8th to pay tribute to those who died in action, and is expected to also be attended by King Charles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton.

"It will be emotional for everyone," Bond said in an interview with Ok! magazine, adding: "The King will have so many memories of his father's wartime service and his mother's short time in the Auxiliary Territorial Service."

"Camilla will have similar memories of her own father, a distinguished soldier who won a military cross for gallantry during the Battle of Dunkirk," the Platinum Queen author continued.

"It will be one of the most important days in the royal calendar this year," Bond went on, while also noting: "The handful of veterans will be the centerpiece of the events, of course, but this is a hugely important day for the royal family. They all take their links to the military very seriously, even if they have not served."
