It’s no secret that Queen Camilla isn’t Prince Harry‘s biggest fan, especially as the feeling is more than mutual.
If we are to believe recent reports, she has reportedly told King Charles that she is not only opposed to Prince Harry returning to the royal family, but is also against him simply making short visits to his father. And as the King is seemingly influenced by the Queen Consort a lot, we think he could very well listen to her and avoid his youngest son for the foreseeable future!
King Charles infamously snubbed Prince Harry when he came to the U.K. for the Invictus Games ten-year anniversary earlier this year, claiming he had no time in his busy schedule to squeeze in a visit. However, it was later reported that he wanted to avoid the meeting because he didn’t “need the drama” that is associated with such visits.
Queen Camilla Is Reportedly 'Opposed' To Prince Harry Returning To – Or Even Visiting – The Royal Family
Queen Camilla has made it very clear that King Charles doesn't need stress or drama in his life as he is recovering from cancer. And as the rumors of Prince Harry wanting to return to the royal family in the not-so-distant future are only intensifying, she has reportedly reiterated that she doesn't want that to happen for the sake of the monarch's health!
"Not everyone is keen on that idea, but Camilla is opposed to Harry making any sort of return, even for a friendly visit," a source told The Express.
"She doesn't want to come face to face with him, let alone show him any kind of forgiveness or mercy," the insider continued, partly in reference to some of the things Prince Harry wrote about Queen Camilla and the rest of the royal family in his bombshell memoir, Spare.
"She thinks he is a wolf in sheep's clothing, he brings stress and drama to situations," the source continued, adding: "It's her belief that any interaction King Charles has with him will only be bad for his health and for the family as a whole."
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have yet to receive an invitation to spend Christmas with the royal family – and they are not on the guest list of King Charles' grand Christmas party – so it doesn't look like Prince Harry will be seeing his father any time soon. While we don't know what's going to happen in terms of Prince Harry and Meghan coming back to the royal family in a working capacity, the insider warned: "If Harry does get the invite back to the U.K., he'd be wise to stay far away from Camilla." We concur!
