Queen Camilla Writes To Controversial Author Who Has Previously Shaded Meghan Markle
In an Instagram post shared to the platform on August 28th, controversial author Emily Giffin shared an image of a letter which Queen Camilla had allegedly sent her. The post was captioned: “Oh. My. Word. Look what just arrived in the mail!! God Save The Queen. And this letter.”
In the letter, Queen Camilla appears to thank Giffin for sending her a copy of her new novel, which she said she would “much look forward to reading in the peace and quiet of Scotland.”
Queen Camilla also expressed her happiness at meeting the Something Borrowed author at the Queen’s Reading Room literary festival at Hampton Court Palace earlier this summer, and went on to say that she hopes the two of them will meet again in the future.

Giffin came under fire in 2020 for slamming Meghan after she celebrated Prince Archie's first birthday with a video on Instagram. Giffin called her "unmaternal" and "such a phony" in text exchanges which were shared to social media, while also describing the video as "uncomfortable" to watch.

As both Queen Camilla and Meghan Markle have their fair share of critics, it was interesting to see how social media reacted to this story. And most of social media seemed to be on Meghan's side on an X post shared by user @KaiseratCB.
One X user said: "Camilla showed who she is by lunching with Jeremy Clarkson after his nasty horrific column about Meghan. She destroyed Diana's marriage while pretending to be Diana's friend. Camilla as Queen shows who the BRF really is."
Commenting on the fact that Queen Camilla wrote to Giffin, a second user wrote: "Of course she did." A third concurred, adding: "Of course she did, she is also friendly with all the journalists that attack Meghan she is one of the sources who was probably briefing the media against Meghan."
"Camilla is one nasty piece of work and really is the downfall of the monarchy and no wonder support for it is falling.
