This breakfast sandwich is extremely high in carbs and saturated fat. Most people know how carbs can slow down your metabolism and cause you to gain weight, but the truth is that saturated fat is even worse for you.

Saturated fat is the worst type of fat you can eat. It can cause cholesterol to build up in your arteries, which can raise your risk for a plethora of health problems like heart disease and stroke.

Instead of a Wendy’s breakfast sandwich high in saturated fats that can harm your health, try making your own breakfast sandwich at home. You can substitute bacon for sausage to keep the fat content down.
