The Voice is constantly switching up its judging panel season after season. But don’t expect Reba McEntire‘s swivel chair to be vacant, as she shut down the rumors that she will be leaving the hit NBC singing competition after the current season.

The 68-year-old country legend, who officially joined the show as a coach in Season 24, took to social media to set the record straight, and told fans on X and Instagram: “Please do not click on any articles that say I am leaving The Voice. This is not true.”

It turns out that the rumors about McEntire leaving the show after Season 25 are actually part of a bigger ploy to sell weight loss products, which she also addressed in her social media posts.

“These are fake websites to lure people in with clickbait where they claim I have a company to sell weight loss gummy products. This is false,” she continued, adding: “I do not sell or promote any type of gummy product. Please report these posts if you see them on Facebook or Instagram.”

McEntire had a very successful debut last season with an impressive two contestants in the final: Ruby Leigh, who was runner-up, and Jacquie Roar, who came fourth.

The "Fancy" singer has been a huge asset to the singing competition, as she appeared as an advisor for Blake Shelton's team back in its first season in 2011, and was also a mentor in Season 8 and Season 23 before becoming an official coach.

McEntire expressed a lot of excitement when she first joined the show as a permanent coach, and said at the time: "I'm looking forward to being here with all of y'all. You've treated me so nicely. I appreciate the hospitality so much that you showed me earlier. And to be able to come in and form my team, I'm so looking forward to it." You can catch her and current coaches John Legend, Chance the Rapper, and Dan + Shay on the current season on NBC.
