During a recent shopping trip in Bel Air, Reba McEntire treated her fans to a rare glimpse of her natural, fiery red curls peeking out from beneath a stylish two-tone hat. Opting for a cozy ensemble, the Voice coach, 69, paired a cozy orange long-sleeve shirt with classic blue jeans and added a sleek black bag to complete her look.

As seen in paparazzi-snapped shots, the "I'm a Survivor" hitmaker's free-flowing curls stole the show and provided a nostalgic nod to her early career days. This departure from her typically straighter, layered hairstyle is not entirely new for McEntire, as she was known for her full, curly mane in the 80s and 90s.
McEntire's luxurious sun hat primarily concealed most of her signature auburn hair during her latest outing, although hints of her wavy tresses were visible near her shoulders.
Fans may recall how the "Fancy" singer's naturally curly locks were adored by country music enthusiasts during the earlier days of her legendary career, causing a memorable uproar when she unveiled a shorter haircut back in 1996.
During an interview with Country 102.5, she offered insight into the reasoning behind her choice to chop off her long locks. "I cut it just because I wanted to and it took me a long time to talk everybody into it," the Grammy winner shared.
She elaborated that her shorter hair had been utilized in promoting her '96 album, What If It's You. "I had to wear a baseball cap with a ponytail sewn in the back and then wear wigs and tail ... all the way up until the CMAs," she explained.
Ultimately, no matter what 'do McEntire chooses — whether layered, blown-out locks with full bangs on The Voice or more relaxed curls while out and about — she always pulls it off!
