The actress' glowing complexion is supported by a detox smoothie, which she said she drinks every day. She learned the recipe from Kerry Washington, her co-star on the Hulu original series Little Fires Everywhere.
Witherspoon even said that she had been making this smoothie every day for the past nine years, and Washington asserts that it has transformed her hair and skin.

WItherspoon shared the recipe in a video on Instagram earlier this year, and it's actually really easy to make. You probably even have most of these ingredients sitting in your kitchen already.
Reese Witherspoon's Green Detox Smoothie Recipe
- 2 heads romaine lettuce (roughly chopped)
- 1/2 cup of spinach
- 1/2 cup of coconut water
- 1 whole banana
- 1 whole apple
- 1 whole pear
- 1 whole lemon
- celery (optional)
- almond butter (optional)
Combine all ingredients in a blender.
"I have this instead of breakfast," Witherspoon explained in the video, "I have this around ten or eleven o'clock in the morning, and then I'm not hungry again until one o'clock."
