Reese Witherspoon will never stop wowing us with her talk show and red carpet looks. Fresh from her stunning appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon earlier this month, for which she wore a gorgeous off-the-shoulder black dress, she has turned heads once again, this time at the From Scratch premiere that took place at the Netflix Tudum Theater on Monday, October 17th!

Roland Mouret midi dress

The 46-year-old Oscar-winning actress walked the red carpet in an autumnal-hued brown Roland Mouret midi dress, which featured a flattering sweetheart neckline with a sheer panel in the middle for a little touch of raciness. We’re in love!

Makeup-wise, the Big Little Lies actress complemented her dress by opting for brown eye shadow, which made her blue eyes pop to perfection, and a soft pink, glossy lip, while her blonde hair was worn in a down do with subtle waves.

The Morning Show star is the executive producer of the Netflix limited series, which is an adaptation of Tembi Locke’s memoir, From Scratch: A Memoir of Love, Sicily, and Finding Home. The memoir was once one of Reese’s Book Club picks, so it’s obvious she wanted to look her best for the red carpet. As did Zoe Saldaña, who plays the lead role of Amy Wheeler!

Zoe Saldaña at the From Scratch premiere

It’s safe to say that Zoe, 44, completely slayed on the red carpet, alongside Reese, wearing a skin-tight strapless brown Fendi dress and Christian Louboutin heels.

We love how Zoe and Reese’s outfit color palettes seamlessly complemented each other, proving that no attention to detail was spared on this high fashion red carpet! Zoe wore her hair in a slick, chic low bun with a cute flower at the back, styled by Mara Roszak, and glowing, natural makeup by Vera Steimberg.

What is From Scratch About?

Without giving too much away, Zoe’s character travels to Italy to find inspiration as an artist, and meets and falls in love with a Sicilian chef named Lino, played by Eugenio Mastrandre. But it isn’t a conventional romance story, as the series deals with topics of love, loss, adoption, and family.

Reese told Variety: “We haven’t seen a modern romance that’s a true story like this in quite some time, so it’s really beautiful to see Zoe Saldaña — who actually has married an Italian man and speaks Italian on film — to watch that love story happen and know that it is so deeply personal to her.”
