Former co-stars and rumored frenemies Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman are making headlines for a nasty alleged feud. Closer Weekly reports that the two “Big Little Lies” stars had an ongoing feud while filming the hit HBO show. Witherspoon was allegedly upset that Kidman spent most of the press time for the show promoting her Oscar-nominated film “Lion” instead.
"Reese is furious that Nicole hasn't done more to support Big Little Lies. All she's talked about in interviews is Lion. Had Reese known that Nicole would put the show so far on the backburner, she would have cast some random," an insider claimed, according to Closer Weekly.
But, it looks like this alleged feud is just some tabloid allegations gone a little too far. Witherspoon took to Instagram to put these rumors to rest once and for all with a post dedicated to Kidman.
“Wishing a big happy birthday to my dear friend, the one and only, mega-talented, #NicoleKidman!!!,” the actress wrote in the heartwarming post. “I hope you have a gorgeous day filled with laughter and love. Love you, lady!!”
