It’s no secret that Reese Witherspoon has always been a stunner, from her career beginnings in the late 90s to present day. The Oscar winner, 47, is also often hailed as an ageless beauty icon with her radiant complexion, mega-watt smile and timelessly symmetrical facial features.
We took a walk down memory lane and compiled beautiful moments and iconic makeup looks from the Legally Blonde alum, who some fans think may have gotten plastic surgery to still look as youthful as she does now.
While this isn’t confirmed, an aesthetic doctor also recently weighed in on the topic, and offered insight as to what Witherspoon might have gone under the knife for (if she even did at all!) Regardless, Witherspoon has always been a natural beauty, with her face barely changing over the years:

Reese Witherspoon’s Ageless Beauty From the 90s to 2023
Speaking to Hello!, skin expert Dr. Sophie Shotter shared her thoughts about the mom of three‘s impossibly youthful looks, and what might have changed when it comes to her face in 2023.

On Instagram, Witherspoon often posts gorg selfies (like above) and snaps with her 23-year-old daughter Ava Phillippe. Some fans have noted how much the two “look alike,” and how “close in age” they sometimes appear, (even though they are 24 years apart) as one commented under the Cruel Intentions alum’s May 14th post.
When looking at this shot of the Walk the Line star from the Golden Globe Awards in 2012 (above) and a February 2023 red carpet pic of Witherspoon from the Your Place or Mine premiere (below), it's hard to see any difference in her appearance at all, even though the images were taken more than a decade apart.
"When she was younger, Reese Witherspoon had a fuller face, which she has shed as she's aged," Shotter explained, before adding, "She's embraced a few lines and wrinkles."
The doctor continued: "Due to her facial structure, Reese is prone to a few lines and wrinkles in the accordion lines, but her upper face is wider-eyed than when she was younger, and she has a lovely smooth upper face."

Did Witherspoon Undergo Plastic Surgery?
Some of Witherspoon's most noticeable and memorable features include her chiseled jawline and heart-shaped bone structure. These areas, Shotter theorized, could be areas where the Busy Betty author had work done.
"Reese has maintained that lovely poker straight jawline," Shotter noted. "She's blessed with a strong jawline, but I suspect there may have been some subtle help along the way, through skin-tightening and carefully placed facial fillers."
Whether Witherspoon ever went under the knife or not, there's no doubt that she's stunned us all in any era, and remains one of our biggest beauty inspirations at every age!
