We still haven’t recovered from last month’s iconic Super Bowl Halftime performance, whereby Rihanna not only treated fans to a medley of some of her biggest tracks but also revealed her pregnancy in spectacular Beyoncé-at-the-2011-MTV-VMAs-rivalling fashion – but now it seems like she will be doing it all over again at the Oscars!
According to reports, the 35-year-old “Diamonds” singer has been tapped to perform her Oscar-nominated song “Lift Me Up” from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever at the 95th Academy Awards on Sunday, March 12th, and fans are beside themselves with excitement!
Other performances of Oscar-nominated songs include “This Is a Life” from Everything Everywhere All At Once, “Applause” from Tell It Like a Woman and “Naatu Naatu” from RRR. Could the British Vogue March cover star top her Super Bowl performance? If it was any other artist, we would be inclined to say no, but with Rihanna, anything’s possible!
