The MTV European Music Awards took place at Manchester’s Co-op Live on Sunday, November 10th, and the red carpet was predictably overflowing with super-stylish A-listers!
The event was hosted by Rita Ora, who rocked not one but eleven (yes, really!) head-turning ensembles throughout the evening. However, it was the one that she wore on the arrivals red carpet which stood out to us the most!
Rita Ora Makes A Statement On The MTV EMAs Red Carpet
For the star-studded EMAs red carpet, the 33-year-old The Voice coach made a statement in a jaw-dropping Ashi Studio Fall 2024 Couture gown that was made from wefts of faux hair, which were embroidered onto the corset and skirt. It really was a work of art, one which we think deserved its own award!
With such a dramatic dress, the "Barricades" singer kept the rest of the styling understated. She wore her hair in a sleek and straight down do, and went for minimal makeup finished off with a nude lip.
Rita Ora Pays Emotional Tribute To Liam Payne At The EMAs
The "Let You Love Me" singer paid an emotional tribute to Liam Payne during the ceremony, almost one month after the One Direction member's tragic death. Rita, who worked with Liam on the 2018 hit single "For You," said he was "one of the kindest people that I knew" as she fought back tears.
"I just want to take a moment to remember someone that was very, very dear to us," Ora began. "We lost him recently, and he was a big part of the MTV world and my world, and I think a lot of yours at home and everybody in here tonight."
"Liam Payne was one of the kindest people that I knew. And, you know, there were so many ways that we were talking about honouring him, and I think sometimes just simply speaking is enough," she continued, adding: "He had the biggest heart, and was always the first person to offer help in any way that he could. He brought so much joy to every room he walked into, and he left such a mark on this world. So let's just take a moment to remember our friend."
