All eyes were on Rita Ora at the Fashion Awards in London this week after the “You Only Love Me” singer graced the red carpet in a curve-hugging black dress and a head-turning chrome prosthetic piece that covered her entire spine. We’re still not over it!
The “Praising You” artist, 33, flaunted her sculpted figure in the skintight black gown, and drew attention to her ensemble with her striking open-back design and spiky spine.
For the annual Royal Albert Hall event, Ora chose a simple and chic sleeveless black Primark frock. Her chrome spine piece was created by special effects artists Francesco Fabiani and the team behind Fabiani Prosthetics.

As for her glam, the "I Will Never Let You Down" crooner wore her dirty blonde tresses in a piecey updo.
For her makeup look, Ora sported shimmering warm gold eyeshadow, black liner, sky-high lashes and radiant bronze highlighter on her high cheekbones. She topped it all off with a glossy 90s-esque mauve lipstick hue.
Through an Instagram video this week, Ora gave viewers a glimpse into her preparation for the British Fashion Council's red carpet event, presented by Pandora.
"Now last year, I don’t know if you remember, we made some noise, because we did a prosthetic, really cool thing on my face," Ora said in the clip.
She added: "This time we’re going bigger: a silver chrome spine. It’s gonna take about two, three hours to put on."
For the 2022 Fashion Awards, Ora adorned her face with stunning prosthetics, giving her the appearance of a gorgeous creature with gills.
The prosthetics were intricately designed to cover her eyebrows and mimic the scales of a mermaid, complementing her bold glam look. Last year, her outfit featured a risqué sheer dress that revealed a sultry lingerie set.
Ora has now disclosed that for this year's awards ceremony, she devised a fresh approach to ensuring that her spinal prosthetic piece leaves a lasting impression on her admirers.
"Basically, we went really simple on the dress because the spine is such a big part of the look," she went on in the video.

Later on during the night, Ora posed for photos with her husband, Taika Waititi. Ora and the Thor: Love and Thunder director, 48, celebrated their first anniversary this August.
