Rita Ora has been killing it in low-rise skirts for a while now, so it’s safe to say that she knows a good thing when she sees – or more accurately, wears – it! The 32-year-old “Let You Love Me” singer ended the year in one of the lowest-rise skirts we’ve ever seen, and incorporated quite a few trends in one, as we were getting serious Y2K vibes from her outfit too!

Rita Ora’s Low-Rise Denim Skirt Is Giving Serious Y2K Vibes
The Voice Australia coach transformed us back to the noughties when she was papped outside The Aubrey restaurant at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Knightsbridge on Saturday, December 17th while attending her friend Josephine de la Baume’s star-studded baby shower with guests such as Sienna Miller and Alexa Chung. And she must have been very fond of her outfit, as she shared multiple pictures of it on her Instagram account that same day, featuring different angles and closeups so we could appreciate the outfit in more detail! And we’re eternally grateful!

Rita’s outfit consisted of an ultra-low-rise denim maxi skirt with frayed edging on the bottom, teamed with the tiniest white cropped T-shirt, if you can call it that, and another Y2K-esque piece – a cropped long-sleeved cardigan! She tried to keep out some of the chill in an oversized black leather jacket, and accessorized with a pink Mach & Mach crystal satin bag that would have made all our noughties dreams come true, as well as a black wide belt that sat on the hips, the same way it did back in the early to mid-noughties. Talk about nostalgia!
The Fifty Shades of Grey actress wore her honey-colored long hair in a messy (but stylish!) half up and half down do, and went nostalgic with her costume jewelry too thanks to an oversized bold blue ring and a light blue bracelet.
