Robin Roberts has finally revealed why she was missing from Good Morning America last week, after fans were growing concerned about her unexplained absence from the show. However, it doesn’t look like there was any cause for concern after all, as the 61-year-old GMA host said that she was simply busy working on another project!
Robin took to Instagram to tell fans that she temporarily left New York to fly to Los Angeles to film the second season of Turning The Tables, the Emmy-award-winning Disney+ show she is executive producing. The show involves Robin sitting down with successful women in Hollywood to talk about their careers, with Jenna Dewan, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Raven-Symoné among the women who featured in the first season.
"In LA to begin taping Season 2 of Turning The Tables for @disneyplus," Robin wrote on Instagram, alongside a picture of the Emmy the show won for the first season! "My office in NYC reached out to let me know today we received our Emmy for Season 1! What timing! Wishing all a blessed weekend," she added.
