Rudy Giuliani Warns Audience Not To Trust Fox News

"I'm not ready for it yet but there will be a day on which I unload on Fox and I have plenty to unload on," Giuliani emphasizes in the episode. America's Mayor Live is a YouTube series that Giuliani hosts every weeknight from 8 to 9 pm ET. In this particular episode, the former mayor of New York City discussed Fox New's treatment of Governor DeSantis, Donald Trump, and himself.

"You take it with a grain of salt and what they're doing now for Rick DeSantis, I think it's a violation of the campaign finance law. They might as well be doing telethons. They don't cover Trump. They don't interview Trump. Every single thing is drawn against him. Every victory he has is blunted and DeSantis is treated like he's the only governor in America," Giuliani says. "I happen to like Ron DeSantis. I happen to find what Fox is doing pathetic. You're pathetic. You're sucking up. I think you're gonna hurt him by doing that."

Giuliani says that Fox News was especially unfair with their coverage and treatment of him. "What they've done to me is intolerable. It's the same kind of mean, vicious attempt to destroy me as a person, as a lawyer, to destroy my source of income that the left-wing has put me through," he continues. Giuliani's law license was suspended in 2021 over his false election campaigns.

'Fox' Hosts Slammed Giuliani As 'An Insane Person' In Leaked Private Text Messages

In the episode, Giuliani seems to be referencing the private text messages between Fox News hosts Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, and Tucker Carlson following the 2020 election that was leaked during a $1.6B 200-page defamation lawsuit against Fox News and its parent company Fox Corporation filed by Dominion Voting System. Dominion Voting System is a company that sells electronic voting hardware and software that was used in the 2020 election. The lawsuit accuses the network of tarnishing the company’s reputation by pushing fake news of election fraud.

Hannity and Ingraham made fun of the former mayor in private text messages that were leaked during the trial. Hannity, 61, wrote that acting like an insane person." On December 22nd, he also said that Giuliani and his allies were "[expletive] lunatics," while Ingraham, 59, said Giuliani was "such an idiot." They also allegedly ridiculed former President Donald Trump, 76, for believing the election was stolen from him.
