Blake Lively's Former Lifestyle Brand Faced With 'Toxic' Workplace Allegations
The Gossip Girl alum, 37, isn't having the best year, to put it mildly, from an ongoing lawsuit against It Ends With Us director and co-star Justin Baldoni, to backlash over her inclusion on the TIME100 'Most Influential' list, among other things. And now, her short-lived lifestyle company 'Preserve' is on people's radar for all the wrong reasons too!
Last week, the Daily Mail published troubling claims from former employees of Preserve – a lifestyle company Blake and her brother Eric Lively launched in 2014 that aimed to rival Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop but folded within a year – with the company being described as a "toxic and insane" work environment.
Some former staffers claimed they were pressured to sign NDAs regarding the chaotic shutdown of the business, with a few reportedly receiving $300,000 settlements after threatening legal action.

What Were The Allegations Against Preserve?
The company reportedly operated out of Eric's apartment, and some of the allegations against him in the past included smoking pot, excessive drinking, locking staff outside the apartment due to him oversleeping, and forcing employees to sit on the floor before he purchased furniture. He was also accused of having an affair with one of the employees, which was reportedly corroborated by three former staff members.
"The entire company was an absolute disaster," one former employee reportedly said. "The workplace allegations that Blake is making now [against Baldoni] are deeply ironic, given that it was one of the most insane, toxic, emotionally draining and disorganized environments you could imagine," they added.
Another ex-employee echoed this, and chimed in: "The impression [Blake] left on me after I worked at Preserve is that she doesn't care. It was a really toxic work environment."

Internet Reactions
"Blake Liesly & Lying Ryan are two delusional dopes that are out of touch with how the rest of us perceive them," slammed one reader. "How pathetic to see Reynolds pimping out products for his wife. The 2 of them are so delusional they have become like cartoon characters," wrote a second, as a third remarked: "Oh Ryan, how far you have fallen!"
"These people are insufferable," criticized a fourth. "Both are disgusting," commented a fifth, as a sixth concurred: "What a vile pair of people." "Wow. These people are awful," agreed a seventh, while an eighth said: "These two have just become more and more insufferable with each passing day."
"They are both tone deaf!" exclaimed a ninth, while a tenth wrote: "These two are shameless! They are as mercenary as they are malicious. Go away!"
