Fans expressed serious concerns over Ryan Seacrest’s health after the season finale of American Idol. Seacrest hosted the show remotely, and seemed to have some difficulty getting through his lines. Considering his slurred speech and his right eye appearing larger than his left, fans were left wondering if something was seriously wrong.
Is @RyanSeacrest okay? Not making light of this. He went from normal to his speech being off and his eye shutting halfway. #ryanseacrest #AmericanIdol pic.twitter.com/9LCKTLjxpe

Many fans even thought that Seacrest might have suffered a stroke.
Adding to their worry, the next morning, the 45-year-old was absent from Live With Kelly And Ryan.
With fans continuing to express concern over his health, a rep for Seacrest denied their theories while speaking to PEOPLE: "Ryan did not have any kind of stroke last night."
The rep continued, "Like many people right now, Ryan is adjusting to the new normal and finding work-home balance, with the added stress of having to put on live shows from home."
"Between Live with Kelly and Ryan, American Idol, On Air with Ryan Seacrest, and the Disney Family Singalong specials, he has been juggling three to four on-air jobs over the last few weeks and he’s in need of rest," the rep explained. "So today he took a well-deserved day off."
By Tuesday, the host was back on air and cleared up the rumors himself, citing "exhaustion" as the reason for his day off.
