Sabrina Carpenter’s fans are in awe of her stunning March 2025 Vogue cover and the retro photoshoot captured by Steven Meisel. Gracing the cover in a sultry, custom Dolce & Gabbana icy blue lace-up minidress, the Grammy winner and style icon, 25, exuded Old Hollywood glamor.
Throughout the shoot, she continued to channel Golden Age elegance, slipping into a sheer, floral lace-adorned crimson Gucci dress and a cream Prada gown layered with a LaPointe feathered jacket—evoking the timeless allure of Marilyn Monroe.
The “Espresso” singer’s beauty look further embraced this vintage aesthetic, with voluminous ringlet curls, winged eyeliner, sky-high lashes, rosy blush, and a glossy pink lip. Fans on Instagram can’t get enough, with many even comparing her mesmerizing looks to Madonna as well.

After Vogue unveiled the "Please, Please, Please" artist's new cover shot in an Instagram post, fans headed to the comments section to share their thoughts. "Bombshell," one gushed as another added that she looked like "1990s Madonna." Someone else agreed, writing, "It’s giving Madonna vibes and I love it!!"

For the cover story, the "Bed Chem" hitmaker discussed how her style changed after the 2022 release of her fifth studio album, Emails I Can't Send. Carpenter mentioned that she started observing a shift in her style during the tour for the album.
"I started wearing outfits that felt more like myself. And then it sort of bled into, like, I was writing these songs that felt more and more like my personality," she shared.
The "Juno" crooner also shared her thoughts about the process of recording Short n’ Sweet, her acclaimed 2024 record. She explained to Vogue that the album, filled with sensual, playful and flirty innuendos, drew inspiration from strongly feminine women.
Carpenter remembered "feeling inspired by images of women that felt very strong and hyperfeminine." She added: "And then being like: 'If only she said what she was actually thinking.'"
