Hayek Opens Up About Filming Third Magic Mike Film With Channing Tatum
Speaking with People Magazine for their PEOPLE Every Day podcast last month, Hayek dubbed her role in the upcoming third installment of the Magic Mike series to be a “dream come true.”
In the film (in theaters February 10th), Hayek portrays a wealthy socialite who meets and is impressed by Tatum’s “Magic” Mike Lane. “It’s a dream come true for me to work with [director Steven Soderbergh] and Channing, who cannot be nicer and cooler, you know?” Hayek gushed. “He’s amazing. And we really got along well. It was a really fun job, and really, I think I made some good friends in that one.”

She also described her typical “day at the office,” on set which included watching 12 shirtless dancers as “amazing and mesmerizing every day for a couple of weeks.” She went on, “It’s the strongest love story, the strongest female character, from beginning to end,” Hayek said about her role. “How lucky am I?”
