The most recent issue of British Vogue made history, starring 40 “megastars” on the issue’s cover, from Serena Williams to Gigi Hadid. Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, Cindy Crawford, and Oprah were also smiling on the front cover.
Of course, many iterations of the cover were created, and our favorite is definitely the one of Salma Hayek and Linda Evangelista. The pair look stunning, leaning into each other in elegant black and white outfits. Fans also pointed out that the shot is extra special because Salma and Linda have one big thing in common: François-Henri Pinault.
Who is this frenchman? He is Salma Hayek’s husband and father of their child Valentina, and ex-boyfriend of Linda Evangelista and father of their child, Augie. Both children are around the same age, and shockingly, Salma and Linda are the best of friends—close enough to pose on the cover of Vogue together, at least!

In the cover shot, linked here, Salma, 57, stands just in front of Linda, 58, in a low-cut off-the-shoulder black gown. Styled by Edward Enninful, Salma looks stunning, with the dress accentuating her slim waist and showing off her curves. She wears her dark hair in messy waves with a middle part, and kept her makeup to a minimum.
Linda, on the other hand, is wearing a white button-down shirt with a slightly popped collar. She matched the top to a pair of black trousers, and wore her hair slicked back in a bun. Like Salma, she kept the makeup simple and left the jewelry off for the day, letting their ageless skin do all the glowing necessary.
The unlikely friends are actually quite close. In the caption of the photo, British Vogue notes that Salma said, "This shoot, it's a statement of sisterhood." And what's more sisterhood than raising your children to be BFF's? In fact, Salma actually slept over at Linda's house the night before the shoot, carpooling to the event together. How cute!

British Vogue and Salma Hayek shared the cover to their Instagram profiles, and the post now has over 120,000 likes. Fans have also flooded the comment section with compliments for the pair, saying things like, "Class act these two," and "Iconic girl power!"
