Country singer Sam Hunt’s wife, Hannah Lee Fowler filed for divorce this week after alleging that her husband of nearly five years cheated on her. She is currently pregnant with the couple’s first child and is due to give birth in May. According to documents, Fowler alleged that Hunt displayed “inappropriate marital conduct” and “adultery,” saying, “[Fowler believes] that all hopes of reconciliation are exhausted.”

The documents, which were obtained by PEOPLE, revealed that Fowler requests primary custody of the child and wishes to be “awarded their respective separate property,” as well as child support and alimony.

The couple, who wed in a private ceremony back in 2017, never released a formal pregnancy announcement, and have evidently come to the end of the line within their nearly decade long romance. Neither Fowler nor Hunt have publicly spoken out on the impending divorce or cheating allegations.

After initially filing for divorce on February 18, Fowler walked back the claim just hours later, before filing again in another country. The 33-year-old did request "voluntarily nonsuited without prejudice" meaning that she could file again in the future, which she later did after remedying the motion to the correct county.

Outside of the cheating allegations, a source told Us Weekly, “Hannah is very shy and really didn’t want to create a life in Nashville or in the public eye. She always was conflicted with this public life.” The couple dated on and off for nearly 10 years before tying the knot and are expecting their first child in May.
