We need a moment to catch our breath after seeing Sandra Bullock’s latest red carpet look! The 57-year-old actress looked nothing short of sensational when she attended the Los Angeles premiere of her Netflix film, The Unforgivable, on Tuesday, November 30th, wearing a super-glamorous skintight crystal catsuit that showcased her enviable – and quite frankly, unbelievable – figure! We are speechless!
Bullock’s sparkly gold catsuit was a gorgeous Stella McCartney creation, which she styled with a sharp black tuxedo jacket. We’re not sure if it was to keep out the chill or because she felt the catsuit was a little OTT on its own (FYI – there is no such thing as OTT on the red carpet, just sayin’!) but we’re not mad about it. In fact, we think it actually transforms the outfit to a whole new level! The Gravity actress finished off her look by adding some tan pumps, a Tyler Ellis clutch, and gold jewelry. Her hair was styled in voluminous curls – is she getting hair inspiration from Kate Middleton, we wonder? – and her makeup consisted of a bold smoky eye and soft pink lips.
We can’t stop staring at Bullock's red carpet look, but we’re also really excited about seeing her in the Netflix movie, which she also serves as producer for, alongside Veronica Ferres and Graham King. The Unforgivable is based on the 2009 British miniseries Unforgiven, written by Sally Wainwright, and focuses on a woman named Ruth Slater (played by Bullock) who is released from prison after serving a 20-year-sentence for murder. It follows Slater as she attempts to find and reconnect with her sister that she was forced to leave behind when she went to prison, while also re-entering a society that can't seem to forgive her for her past actions.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter at the premiere at the DGA Theater Complex, Bullock said: "I wanted to make a movie about someone who never gets movies made about them, but yet they sacrifice every single day without a pat on the back, without someone saying ‘good job,’ without someone seeing them and recognizing them." We can't wait to watch it when it lands on Netflix on December 10th!
