Savannah Guthrie impressed Today Show viewers this week by donning a dazzling Taylor Swift costume for Halloween. The news anchor’s incredible transformation left many viewers doing a double take!
For the show’s yearly costume reveal at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City, Guthrie, 51, showcased a crystal-studded bodysuit and knee-high boots embellished with silver sparkles, emulating one of Swift’s most iconic Eras Tour ensembles.
To complete the look, Guthrie sported a long blonde wig with eyebrow-grazing bangs, successfully embodying the essence of the 33-year-old pop star. She also treated audience members to a dedicated and fun lip-synced and choreographed performance.

As for her makeup look, Guthrie re-created Swift's signature black winged cat-eye liner and red lip combo. Paying homage to Swift's "Willow" tour performance, Guthrie donned a green cloak initially before removing it to unveil a replica of the splendid Versace bodysuit.
During Guthrie's performance of Swift's 2019 hit, "Cruel Summer," the journalist's 9-year-old daughter, Vale, graced the stage wearing a shiny, fringe-adorned golden dress paired with a denim jacket, a throwback to Swift's "Fearless" era. Soon after, the rest of the Today crew joined the mother-daughter duo for an unforgettable performance.
On Instagram, Guthrie shared clips and photos of her and her daughter's riveting Swift-inspired moment in posts for her 1.1 million followers.
Fans couldn't get enough of their tribute to the "Anti-Hero" hitmaker, or Guthrie's long, toned legs and sculpted figure. "Damn Savannah looks good!" one commented under one of her recent posts.
Another added: "LOVE IT!!!! She rocked it!!! Its Halloween. It’s about having fun. With confidence like hers you can look beautiful in every look." Someone else replied: "Wait— those legs! Get it, Savannah!" One other fan agreed: "Damn Savannah!! Get it girl!!" Others conveyed their (and our) thoughts on her costume with red hearts, fire and heart-eye emojis.
Guthrie (a self-proclaimed Swiftie who attended a Los Angeles Eras Tour concert with her daughter back in August) also posted a video of her and her child getting ready for their big performance on Instagram. "Wildest dream come true for my little swiftie and me - thanks @todayshow and @taylorswift!" she wrote in her caption. Fans "couldn't get over" how well Guthrie "pulled off the Taylor Swift look," as seen in more comments.
We can't either, and we're sure this bodysuit and boots get-up will never go out of style.
