Scarlett Johansson is one of Hollywood’s busiest stars and it looks like she has an exciting new project on the horizon.

Johansson spilled the beans on Marvel's upcoming standalone Black Widow movie, confirming that her action hero is getting her first solo film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Avengers star made the big reveal at San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend, letting the crowd get the first details on the upcoming film.

"I'm very excited about it, and I have to say, I was nervous coming here because we're in the middle of shooting right now, so it's not a time that you could ever share anything with anybody on any side of the movie, particularly in this universe, where everything is just so huge and the pressure's on. But I'm really, really proud of what we showed today," Johansson said, according to E! News.

Details regarding MCU's latest superhero movie are still under wraps, but we do know that the film offers insights into Johansson's character Natasha Romanoff's past in Budapest.

Members of the Black Widow standalone movie's cast also made a surprise appearance at Comic-Con. The film will star Stranger Things' David Harbour, plus Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbenle, and Rachel Weisz.
