Fans React To Scarlett Johansson Completely Stripping Off Her Makeup For New Skincare Launch: ‘Absolutely Gorgeous’

Scarlett Johansson showed off her naturally beautiful complexion as part of her new skincare launch last week, and fans can’t get enough! The Black Widow star, 37, posed for a photo shoot to promote her new line, The Outset, and absolutely stunned her devotees with her makeup-free skin in a beautiful black-and-white pic.

The main image, which is part of an ad for the brand, shows Johansson staring directly at the camera with her blonde locks slicked back into an updo as the lighting highlights her impeccable skin and flawless features. The Lost In Translation actress donned a strapless white top for the shoot and continues to promote her latest project on The Outset’s Instagram stories.

Johansson co-founded the line with Kate Foster Lengyel and it is now available at Sephora and on its website. The products offered include a daily moisturizer, night cream, serums, micellar water and more. In an interview with CR Fashion Book, the Sing 2 superstar discussed her inspiration for The Outset and what compelled her to venture into skincare. “I wanted to create and represent a brand that felt true to me, something real and intimate that others could see themselves in, too,” she said to the publication.

“The Outset was inspired by my own skincare ritual—a consistent routine of cleansing, prepping and moisturizing that keeps my skin on track and camera ready. I’ve found that great skin starts with the basics, and consumers we spoke with similarly expressed a desire to return to the essentials,” she continued. Speaking to WWD, Johansson noted that what she is “offering from The Outset” is “what we’ve heard that the consumer is missing in their routines: a clean, nonirritating line of essentials that is the everyday foundation for great skin.”

Fans took to Twitter to share images of Johansson’s photo on billboards across New York City and elsewhere, writing that they love seeing her “absolutely gorgeous natural face” wherever they go. Others showed how excited they are for Johansson and to try out the new products in The Outset Instagram comment sections. “Can’t wait to head to Sephora and check out the collection!!!” wrote one excited fan while another user sweetly added, “gonna ask my mom to see if it’s in my sephora after school.” Other fans also snapped photos with Johansson at promotional events in NYC for the line and said that she is “just as stunning IRL.” (We’re not at all surprised!)
